This copper handmade neti pot is a popular tool in Ayurveda for Dincharya (daily routine) often used with the copper tongue scraper to cleanse before yoga asanas (postures) breathwork and meditation.
The neti pot if filled with salt water and optional herbs or iodine to irrigate the nasal passages by placing the pot in one nostril and leaning forward over a basin with the mouth open and the head tilted so the water can come out the other nostril. This is done on both sides of the nose.
Copper is important in Ayurveda for balancing the doshas and has natural anti-bacterial properties. Rinse after each use. This product will last and last. All copper products can be cleaned with salt and lemon if they become discoloured.
