I had been through a few health issues and needed a bit of peace to reset. I know how fantastic Heather's classes are and I also love Bali, its heaven on earth so it was the best of both. Heather always brings such calm. The community on this retreat has been so supportive, and I have had so many laughs, that's something I will take away with me from this retreat. My favourite part of the retreat was making new friends; I have really loved it. I can't wait for the next retreat, you simply must go, its life changing!
I came to Bali last year on a retreat and had been doing classes with Heather for a long time and absolutely adored her classes so when the opportunity came up to go on a retreat with Heather I just jumped at it, it was the perfect combination! Honestly every moment of this retreat has been my favourite part! One experience that really stands out is a walk to a waterfall the weather was so warm and the water was lovely and cool and after a swim we did an amazing meditation in nature and that just made my heart sing, it was such a wonderful experience!
We had an amazing group on this retreat, coming here and getting to meet them and get to know them better I know that when we go back, we have made lasting friendships. I haven't laughed so much in such a long time and it has been wonderful to have such a sense of community and have so much fun in such an amazing place.
Heathers retreats are really inclusive they really are for everybody. From the very beginning everyone felt comfortable to be themselves and share as much or as little as they wanted. It's been such a wonderful experience, anyone would benefit from it. Every moment throughout the entire retreat Heather had thought out so beautifully and thoughtfully from the gift bags when we arrived that had beautiful hand made things to support us at the retreat to each of the experiences, she thought through with such care. You could really feel Heather had put her heart and soul into every element of it. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!
Heather drew me here, I love her restorative and yin classes, she brings such a relaxing and beautiful experience so I figured if I love her classes then a week with Heather would be even better! I also loved the idea of being able to come to Bali and disconnect from the demands of daily life and fully focus on my needs and really be able to rest and relax, it was definitely restful and nourishing with so many amazing experiences!
I left the retreat with a greater appreciation for health and healthy living. It was lovely to slow down and enjoy small things like sitting down for a meal instead on being on the go and being able to sit and reflect on my thoughts without distractions or technology. We had some amazing experiences and saw some beautiful places from waterfalls to sunrise boat trips and being able to participate in Balinese culture.
Being here with the group really enriched the experience, to be with other people who also wanted to invest time into themselves. We felt safe to share our own stories as much as we wanted, to share laughter and knowledge. The highlights for me were definitely the waterfalls, they were so healing and joyful and beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed the sunrise boat trip; it was definitely worth getting up early for! The venue was just marvellous, the people were warm and joyful, and the view is more amazing than can be described in words! We were immersed in nature and healthy living which has been good for the soul.
I have felt drawn to this retreat because I really love Heather's classes and a whole week to disconnect from the busy world was just amazing. Heather has such a calm aura which is contagious, just being in her presence you feel like a calmer and her practices are beautiful
Being on this retreat surrounded by this amazing group, all here for the same reasons, and to find that bit of inner peace and self-healing I feel quite privileged we got to do this together. Sometimes It can be a little scary doing things on your own so it was so lovely having the support of a community.
My biggest surprise was the chocolate factory. Getting to make our own chocolates was an amazing experience and surprise, one surprise of many surprises! I found some really amazing friendships, I knew some of the group a little already, but now I feel like I have known them a lot longer.
